So you should consider to either use one local copy to local USB disk and an additional copy to USB disk for offsite location as a better approach if you don't want to use a NAS for either local or offsite location. I would consider it a temporary copy for preparing backups. Acronis has a decent backup solution and i believe for the amount of devices you have you could use the free version (been a while, do not quote me on that).
